The Inglorious endured a frustrating Saturday afternoon in front of goal as they were held to a draw by Brentwood at LV.
Manager Craig Neilsen once again saw his side dominate possession and create chances, but after 4 straight wins, this time they failed to capitalise, as the visitors struck back to hold their hosts to a draw.

Wapping were dominant in the first half with Matt Patterson giving them the lead with a superb 15-yard daisy-cutter, but they could not find a way through for a second goal, and the game was far more open, and even, in the second half.

It was a frustrating story at Lee Valley, with Patterson, Fareed, Hamza, Griffo and DC creating chances and PC's, but the team not being able to bag the crucial second goal.

In midfield, Bateman, Peeler and Julio worked their variously-lengthy legs into the ground, but Norval's main contribution was to wipe out a Brentwood midfielder and spend 10 minutes on the naughty chair, whatsapping the M6 group how he had done them a favour.

Not long after the YC, a crunching tackle outside the top of the D was deemed to have been attempted assassination, and a PF was awarded. Mercifully for the Inglorious, the man with more exes in his name than in his storied deviant past, and more wood in his pants than in his well-notched bedpost was in fine form in goal, saving the flick with a codpiece so large, it is rumoured the Spanish have sent a fleet of fishing trawlers in pursuit.

Sadly the lead lasted just seven minutes longer as the ball was buried in the corner from a PC, following a sustained period of pressure which Gilo, Cannonball and Gerhard had hitherto held at bay.

On balance a draw may have seemed a fair result, with the home side down a player for 15 minutes more than their opponents.
Neilson's side are, however, now unbeaten in 5 games in all competitions and are second in the League behind their club counterparts.
Saying that, there are six sides within a span of four points, and a tough test awaits next week, away to third-placed Braintree.

Mercifully, Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxtra Trojan and his piece are both available, so the Inglorious will again have 2 club members in goal.
Ooh yeah
