The pressure was high on Saturday as Wapping took on Sevenoaks in an attempt to continue their hunt for promotion. Wapping kept their nerves under control as they went into the opening minutes, transfering the ball quickly around the back and finding the midfields with quick one two passes. The forwards pressed hard, putting in a lot of leg work as the game quickly moved from one end to the other. The game went into half time 0-0.

The second half proved trickier for Wapping as Sevenoaks showed significant skill and pace on the break. They were rewarded after 10 minutes to take the scoreline to 1-0. Wapping's defence was strong and the team continued to show determination, playing early balls down the line for the forwards who despite earning short corners couldn't find the back of the net. Sevenoaks scored in the last 15 minutes from a short corner deflection to take it to 2-0. In true Wapping spirit the girls reacted with dogged determination and were rewarded with a goal flicked over the keeper by Kateylnn. However the game reached full time 2-1 to sevenoaks. The girls hold their 4th place spot and look forward to returning to their winning ways next weekend.
